BANDIPORA — Authorities on Tuesday are said to have suspended vehicular movement on the Gurez-Bandipora road as a precautionary measure following fresh snowfall at the Razdan Pass, a vital section of the route.
Unnamed officials, quoted by the news agency JKNS, said the Razdan Pass has witnessed significant snow accumulation, making the road unsafe for travel. The suspension will remain in place until further orders to ensure public safety.
They said commuters have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel and stay updated through official announcements regarding the reopening of the route.
