
SRINAGAR — A moving car suddenly caught fire on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway in Awantipora area of southern Kashmir.
A police officer, as per the news agency KNS, said that the moving car bearing registration number DL6CM-1835, coming from Jammu to Srinagar, caught fire at Awantipora.
“However, the fire was doused off with the help of fire tenders while the trio of passengers boarding the vehicle was rescued safely,” he said.
The official further said that the cause of the fire is a leakage of fuel.
