SRINAGAR — Despite circulating rumours, independent weather forecaster Kashmir Weather clarified on Sunday that there is no forecast of snowfall in the plains over the next 10 days.
The probability of snowfall remains less than 0%, according to the weather forecaster.
While there may be a slight chance of showers around October 16 and 17, even the higher reaches are not expected to experience any significant snowfall. The forecast indicates that dry weather will continue to dominate the region.
In addition, the Jhelum River’s water levels are expected to decline further, raising concerns about potential water scarcity in some areas.
