‘Over ground militant worker’ arrested in Pulwama

Pulwama: Government forces arrested an ‘over ground militant worker’ from his residence in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.

A police official said that Army personnel of 3 RR, police and SOG men raided the residence of Sabzar Ahmad Mir and recovered a 9 MM pistol and few magazines from his possession. He was soon taken into the custody, he said.

Confirming the arrest, the district police chief Mohammad Aslam Choudary said a case has been registered and the investigations were underway.
