Police recover unidentified male body in central Kashmir’s Budgam

SRINAGAR — A male body was recovered by police in Lassipora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday evening.

A police officer quoted by the news agency Kashmir Scroll said that Budgam Police Station received information that a male body was found in Cxyhom Kol at Lassipora, Budgam.

The body was taken into custody for a medical and legal examination, he said, adding that there were no apparent injury marks on the body.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been determined while proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPC have been initiated.
