Shops damaged in Kangan fire incident


Kangan: Two shops were gutted in a fire incident on Monday evening here in Kangan. The fire broke out at 8:00 pm in which two shops were completely damaged.
According to CityFMJK sources, flames were seen from a mating shop situated near Army camp following which Army men rushed to the spot and informed local police and fire and emergency service. Later fire tenders from Fire and Emergency Department were rushed to spot to control the flames. A team of J&K police headed by SHO Kangan, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Shah was also there who helped to put out the fire.
The cause of fire was not ascertained yet.
