Soldier back home on leave goes missing in Kulgam

SRINAGAR — An army soldier has gone missing in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district even as a massive search operation has been launched to trace him.

As per reports, the soldier identified as Javed Ahmad Wani, had come back home on leave and was kidnapped from his vehicle in Kulgam.

Reports said that a massive search and cordon operation has been launched by the army and police to trace the soldier.

Javed was posted in Leh and went missing around 8 pm last evening.
