Soldier shoots youth for not stopping at check point in Kulgam

Srinagar: Army soldiers allegedly shot at a youth outside their camp in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Sources told CNS that Army soldiers from 34 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army fired upon a biker when he didn’t stop at the Behibagh check point. The youth has received bullet in his shoulder and shifted to Srinagar hospital.

Sources identified the youth as Mudasir Ahmed Thokar, a resident of Kadder Kulgam.

Family members alleged that Mudasir was shot at for the fault of his none.

When contacted In-Charge Police Post Behibagh confirmed the incident but added that youth was driving at a very high speed and didn’t stop at two check points. He added that the youth is stable. (CNS)
