Speedy tipper mows down over a dozen sheep in Pulwama

PULWAMA — At least 16 sheep were reportedly crushed to death by a speedy tipper in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

A nomad (Bakarwal) party was carrying sheep towards Poonch when an unknown tipper hit the livestock near Darul-ul-Uloom Malwari Newa. In the incident, around 16 sheep got killed on the spot even as several others were injured, reports reaching GNS said.

Meanwhile, a police official confirming the incident told GNS that a case has been registered in this regard.
