SPO dies after falling unconscious in Pulwama

PULWAMA — A Special Police Officer (SPO) died after he fell unconscious in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.

An unnamed official, quoted by the news agency KNC, said that an SPO, namely Sheeraz Ahmad, a resident of Pulwama, posted at DPL Pulwama, fell unconscious, following which he was moved to District Hospital Pulwama.

At the District Hospital Pulwama, doctors checked the vitals of the patient and declared him dead.

Meanwhile, the local police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings.
