Teacher from Tral bags award in Bangkok
The awardee Sajad Ahmad Mir, from Gulshanpora Tral, is a prominent lecturer in Kashmiri

SRINAGAR — A Kashmiri language teacher from Tral area of southern Kashmir has received an award in Bangkok for giving shape to Kashmiri language, and introducing it in other parts of the world.

The awardee Sajad Ahmad Mir, son of Ab Salam Mir of Gulshanpora Tral, is a prominent lecturer in Kashmiri and the award to him was given by an NGO, named as International Association of Research and Development Organization (IARDO), in a function at Bangkok University.

Mir is presently posted at Government Degree College, Tral, who besides that, used to give free coaching to the aspiring Kashmiri students.

Before this, Sajad has bagged many awards for his contribution towards promoting Kashmiri language in and outside the country.
