SOPORE — Government forces on Thursday recovered three hand grenades from an orchard in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Friday.
Reports reaching here said that a joint team of Army’s 52 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a search operation in an apple orchard at Krankshin near the Railway bypass crossing in Sopore town. During searches, three hand grenades were recovered.
SSP Sopore Javeed Iqbal, while confirming it, said that a case in this regard has been registered.
Pertinently, an SPO and a civilian were killed while another cop was injured in a militant attack in Sopore village on Wednesday evening.
