Three injured as JCB, Maruti car collide in Anantnag

SRINAGAR — At least three persons sustained injuries after collision between a JCB and Maruti car in Bunssu Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday afternoon.

Reports reaching here said that a Maruti-800 car bearing registration number JK-01J 8333 had collision with a JCB, resulting in injuries to three on-board persons.

The injured persons have been identified as Ghulam Hassan Shiekh son of Ghulam Rasool Shiekh, Qaisar Ahmad Shiekh son of Nissar Ahmad Shiekh and Aijaz Ahmad Decca son of Mohammed Ramzan Decca, all residents of Deesu Kokernag.

Five killed as vehicle falls into gorge in Kishtwar

The trio was, in the meantime, removed to Sub-District Hospital Kokernag wherefrom they were referred to GMC Anantnag for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile, a police official confirmed the accident and said that they have taken cognizance of the case and further investigations are set into motion.
