Train crushes man to death in Qazigund

QAZIGUND — A man was crushed to death by a train in Qazigund. Railway officials have said that the man was aged about 60 years, and was run over by the train in between Srinagar and Budgam.

Reports reaching here said that the incident took place today afternoon at Qazigund railway station when a fast-moving train hit a 60-year-old man resulting in his on-spot death.

The deceased was identified as Ghulam Nabi Bhat son of Ghulam Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Churat Qazigund.

Police has registered a case in this regard and initiated further investigation.
