Srinagar: Two civilians who were injured in firing by the government forces in Kulgam district of south Kashmir on Saturday were shifted to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Sources at District hospital Anantnag said two civilians, identified as Yasir Ahmad Dar and Javed Ahmad Lone who had suffered bullet injuries in thighs were referred to Srinagar.
Three civilians, including a teenage girl, were killed and at least five others injured after forces opened fire on protesters during clashes in Hawoora area of Redwani earlier today.
A police official said that the forces opened fire after they were pelted with stones in Hawoora.
