Srinagar: Two militants were killed in an overnight gunfight which broke out in Brath Kalan village of north Kashmir’s Sopore between militants and goverment forces on Wednesday evening.
A senior police official said that two militants have been killed. He identified them as Owais Bhat and Tahir Ahmad Dar – both local residents.
He said the duo killed in the gunfight with the forces was affiliated with LeT.
The operation was earlier halted due to darkness and was resumed early morning. (GNS)
