TRAL — The residents of around two dozen villages in Tral sub division of south Kashmir have expressed resentment over the non-availability of Patwaris in their areas.
A delegation of the representatives of the villages viz. Lurgam, Lurow, Satura, Syedabad, Jawahirpora, Khanagund, Aripal and other villages have said that vacant Patwari posts need to be filled.
They said that whole Aripal tehsil of Tral sub district is being operated by the two Patwaris only, due to which people suffer as the work is not being done on time.
The delegation alleged the administration has failed for rendering revenue services in the Tehsil as the 22 villages are suffering in view of lack of Patwaris.
They demand immediate intervention of higher authorities into the matter.
