Woman injured during practice firing in Budgam

BUDGAM — A woman was injured during practicing fire in Volina Ichgam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday.

Locals from Ichgam said that a women identified as Fatima wife of late Ghulam Rasool received bullet injury in her right thigh and was referred to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Locals alleged that bullets of practice firing from Airport hits some roofs of houses in the village which created panic among villagers.

Meanwhile, people blocked the Budgam-Chadoora road and demanded stern action against the government forces.
