J&K Bank Recruitment 2018 for 250 Probationary Officer & 1200 Banking Associate Jobs

Srinagar: J&K Bank, the State’s premier financial institution, Saturday announced the J&K Bank Recruitment 2018 for 250 Probationary Officer & 1200 Banking Associate Jobs.

The bank has announced the recruitment drive in order to support the state-centric business expansion and optimization of bank’s business in rest of India by expanding in the selected areas. The bank has already crossed a business of Rs 150,000 crore mark.

Online applications are, therefore, invited from the permanent residents of J&K State, fulfilling the eligibility as per the notification for the following posts as per district-wise recruitment:

Probationary Officers: 250 Posts & Banking Associates: 1200 Posts

Eligibility for Probationary Officer Jobs: The Educational Qualification should be the following:

Graduate / Post Graduate with 60% marks and above. Educational Qualifications should be from a recognized University / Institute (UGC/AICTE approved) and the result should be declared on or before 01 October, 2018.

Age: The Age Criteria for Probationary Officer jobs in the bank is as follows:

General Category: 18-30 Years as on 01-01-2018

SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation of 5 Years i.e, 18-35 Years as on 01-01-2018

The General Category candidates born before 02-01-1988 & after 01-01-2000 are not eligible to apply.

Eligibility for Banking Associate Jobs: The Educational Qualification should be the following:

Graduate / Post Graduate with 55% marks and above. Educational Qualifications should be from a recognized University / Institute (UGC/AICTE approved) and the result should be declared on or before 01-10-2018.

Age: The Age Criteria for Banking Associate jobs in the bank is as follows:

General Category: 18-32 Years as on 01-01-2018.

SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation of 3 Years i.e, 18-35 Years as on 01-01-2018.

The General Category candidates born before 02-01-1986 & after 01-01-2000 are not eligible to apply.

Meanwhile, the announcement of J&K Bank Recruitment 2018 for 250 Probationary Officer & 1200 Banking Associate Jobs is seen as a major relief for unemployed educated youth in the state, who are facing limited job opportunities.

J&K Bank is the second largest employment generator in the state. “Currently, the Bank is facing shortfall of staff owing to accumulated vacancies impending due to superannuation, resignations and opening of new Business Units over the past year and has been rationalizing staff available to meet immediate needs,” said a J&K Bank spokesman.
