JKSSB issues advertisement notification for 1889 posts in RDD in JK

SRINAGAR — The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) on Monday issued an advertisement notification for 1889 posts in District Cadre as Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) in Rural Development Department.

JKSSB has issued the advertisement notification for 1889 posts to be filled at Panchayat level in Rural Development Department (RDD).

In the notification, JKSSB has notified that the commencing date for online submission will be from July 20 and the last date of submission will be August 31.

The posts advertised in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir include 153 in Kupwara, 158 in Baramulla, 74 in Bandipora, 66 in Ganderbal, 7 in Srinagar, 123 in Budgam, 86 in Pulwama, 55 in Shopian, 83 in Kulgam, 146 in Anantnag, 69 in Kishtwar, 103 in Doda, 71 in Ramban, 103 in Udhampur, 75 in Reasi, 109 in Kathua, 56 in Samba, 124 in Jammu, 128 in Rajouri and 100 in Poonch.

Among the total 1889 posts, 951 have been advertised for Kashmir division while 938 have been advertised for Jammu division.

Among the notified posts, 946 are for open merit while 196 for residents of backward areas, 160 posts are for scheduled cast, 188 for scheduled tribe, 180 for economically weaker section, 73 for residents living near actual line of control, 74 for Pahari speaking people and 72 for OSC category.

Pertinently, this is the second recruitment advertisement issued by Jammu and Kashmir Service selection Board (JKSSB). Earlier, over 8000 posts were notified for Class-IV posts under fast track based recruitment process.
