• Publication Or Announcement of Official Notification: 13th February, 2016
• Tentative Date of Written Exam (Tier-1): 8th and 22nd May, 2016
• Dates for Online Registration: 13th February 2016 to 14th March, 2016

As you can see, the date of CGL 2016 Exam is 8th and 22nd May, 2016. However, the exact date will be know only after the SSC CGL 2016 Notification will be announced.

What is the Eligibility Criteria ?
To appear in the CGL Exam 2016, applicants must fullfill the below mentioned eligibility conditions:

1. Nationality: To apply for a government job in India, applicant must be an Indian Citizen.
2. Age-Limit: Applicants age should be in between 18 years to 28 years. But the exact age limit for CGL-2016 will be known only after the Notification will be announced.
3. Educational Qualification: To appear for CGL 2016 Exam, applicant must have completed Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University.

Selection Process: As the Government of India has abolished the Interviews for Non-Gazetted posts, therefore, there will be no interviews and the selection process comprises of Preliminary (Tier-1) and Mains (Tier-2) exam only. To apply for CGL Exam, you need to wait till 13th February. After that Online Registration will begin.
