Blissful
Is the morning of this Eid
Ahh!
People wishing each other
Out of caste and creed
Ambience is full of charm
Everyone’s heart is quite warm
Long hugs and warm greetings
Are this day’s special norm.

Kids dressed up in fancy attires
Armed with toys while bursting firecrackers
Towards Eidgah
When young and the old go
Touching shoulders they line up in a row
Reciting prayers together they bow.

To soothe our souls,
What else we need
On this day at least there is no greed
While sharing the joy and the love
Out of bonds of caste and creed
Which is the pleasing beauty of this Eid.

Be it Bakr or the Fitr
Everywhere is smell of itr
Environ resonates loud and louder
With the chants of Takbeerat and Zikr.

Festivals like Eid
Comes full of spirit indeed
Don’t miss an opportunity
Of being a benevolent
Let’s relish together
Let’s enjoy the moment.
