With the wind of ‘solidarity’ in seasonal flow
Blown, and blown against the ‘Global Slough’
Kashmir, and the Kashmiris, and the people’s plight
Perversely scoured is their unaddressed right
Imposed upon them is a ‘dawn-less night’
The ‘perfidy’ committed by ‘Indian Knights’
Their shelters ransacked by the ‘military might’
And squeezed are they to “No Respite”
The omens are glum, and not bright
As continues the episode of fright
Proudly I say, amidst all this fight
Pakistan stands at a moral height
Kashmiris! We’ve extended to a hope of light
Their tryst with freedom, and in all such delight
Be rest assured, as I write
Neither is this screed, nor a trite
For I believe, “Kashmir is a Valley
Neither Islamabad’s, nor of New Delhi”
