Lend me a shelter
I want to return

Forlorn and restless my eyes
Searching the mourning mother
Left to live in hopes of my return

Articulate my reasons
And tell them
Why I left for the woods

Dark and cold are times
Hard is the road of choice

I became the warden of the nation
Alas! Disguised and faced it was

In hope to be heard
I stepped out of my world
Won’t you lend me an ear?

Will you please
Introspect why we fight
And give space to my opinion

I had dreams to work on
I had a life to cherish
But to my cause
Solace is not enough.

I might be resting in peace
Knowing you will live for the cause

Where I stand
Limitations bound me
But you are free to comprehend

I was the last hope to family
Will you look after them?

Tell my leaders
To learn some manners
And revive some humanity

Tell my people
Emotional support isn’t enough
For the cause so big

This cottage will be blown up in a while
Don’t slack the flame of revolution

Don’t light a candle on my grave
But ignite the mind
And find a way out

Don’t celebrate my death
But try not to dig another grave

Don’t sell my blood for the petty things
Don’t question my questions which I am asking

I’m not a hero but a reason to think
There should be an end to the turmoil
There should be an end!
