SRINAGAR — Five persons, who were hospitalized after testing positive for Coronavirus last month, were discharged from JLNM Rainawari Hospital today after repeatedly testing negative for the infection they had contracted.
Nodal Officer for Coronavirus at JLNM Rainawari Hospital, Dr Bilquis said that 5 patients were discharged from the hospital after their recovery from lethal COVID-19 infection. She added that these patients hail from Chattabal and Bemina areas of Srinagar city.
“They were tested repeatedly and all these tests were found negative. These patients were discharged after 18 to 20 days and have been advised strict 14 days home quarantine,” Dr Bilquis said.
With the recovery of these five patients, there are 55 active positive cases in Srinagar. 22 patients from Srinagar have already recovered.
Number of active positive cases in Srinagar are 55, followed by Bandipora 68, Baramulla 40, Kupwara 27, Shopian 20, Ganderbal 14, Budgam 06, Kulgam 05, Pulwama 02, Anantnag 03, Jammu 22, Udhampur 14, Samba 04, Rajouri 01.
