SRINAGAR — The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has issued an official update regarding the 2014 admission process for its M.Sc Information Technology programme, while also announcing the resumption of regular academic activities across the university.
According to the official admission notice, candidates who applied for the M.Sc IT programme-2014 can now view the shortlist for the second round of counselling. The university has uploaded the list to its official website (www.cukashmir.ac.in). Officials stated that the shortlist was determined based on candidates’ merit in both the entrance test and their qualifying examinations.
Counselling Details and Requirements
Shortlisted candidates are instructed to report for counselling on October 13th, 2014, at 10:00 AM. The session will take place at the university’s Transit Campus located in Sonwar, Srinagar.
To participate in the counselling process, candidates must bring:
- All requisite original documents and certificates.
- A set of photocopies (xerox) of the required documents.
- One passport-size photograph.
The administration emphasised that candidates who are ultimately selected for admission based on their merit during this counselling session will be required to deposit the prescribed course fee on the exact same day.
Classes Resume for All Programs
In addition to the admission updates, the notice, signed by Registrar Prof. M. Afzal Zargar, served as an official call to current students. The university announced that regular class work for all Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs has officially resumed. All currently enrolled students are strongly advised to attend their classes regularly “in their own interest.”
