SRINAGAR — The University of Kashmir has officially released the date sheet for the February 2015 session of postgraduate examinations for M.A., M.Sc., and M.Com. 3rd and 4th semester candidates, including fresh, backlog, and division improvement students, scheduled through distance mode.

The examinations are set to begin on January 31, 2015 (Saturday), with a paper in Urdu Criticism (UR-09). From February 2 to February 28, exams across disciplines including Economics, Mathematics, English, Commerce, and Urdu are scheduled. Each paper is slated to commence at 12:00 noon.

Courses marked in the schedule indicate both the old and revised syllabi—for instance, ECO-220: Theory of Public Economics (New) and ECO-615: Theory of International Trade (Old) will be held on Monday, February 2. Similarly, subjects like Functional Analysis-II (new) and Theory of Ordinary Differential Equations (old) are slated for February 4 for mathematics students.

The schedule concludes on February 28, 2015 with several advanced-level papers such as Security Analysis & Portfolio Management (new), Financial Risk Management and Derivatives (old), Merchant Banking Operations (old), and Advertising and Sales Management (old).

The university has also cautioned students that mobile phones and other electronic gadgets are strictly forbidden in examination centers. Candidates are reminded to download their roll number slips from the official university website ahead of their exams.
