SRINAGAR — The Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education has notified that from this year onwards, JKBOSE Class 11th Exam will be conducted on CBSE pattern.
A notification issued by the Board reads, “It is once again notified for the information of all the candidates of Higher Secondary Examination Part-I (Class 11th) for the Academic Session 2018-19 in case of Kashmir Division, Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division including Leh (Ladakh) Division and Academic Session 2019-20 in case of Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division that the pattern/design of question papers has been modified and the new question papers shall be now framed on the analogy of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the Annual (Regular) Examination scheduled to be held in October-November, 2019 in Kashmir Division/Winter Zones areas of Jammu Division including Leh Division and in February-March, 2020 in case of Summer Zone area of Jammu Division.”
The Model Question papers are available on the official website of the Board.
The examination of re-appear/failure candidates on the old patter of question papers will be held for only one year in two (02) examinations for the candidates who are declared reappear/failure category in Annual (Regular) 2018 session in case of Kashmir Division/Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division including Leh (Ladakh) Division and after declaration of Annual (Regular) results of 2019 in case of Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division.
