UG 1st Year students to appear in three papers only, says Kashmir University

Under Graduate – UG 1st Semester students of (Batch 2016) who are pursuing studies under newly introduced “Choice Based Credit Based” (CBCB) System are informed that they shall have to appear in only three (03) core papers / courses in the forth coming 1st Semester examination likely to be held in January-February, 2017.

Examination of two (02) ability enhancement compulsory courses viz (1) Communicative English and (2) Environmental Studies shall be conducted in 2nd Semester examination instead of 1st Semester by virtue of which the candidates shall have to appear in a total number of five (05) papers / courses in BG 2nd Semester Examination.

Question Paper shall consist of:
i) Forty (40) Multiple Choice Questions
ii) Seven (07) Descriptive Questions comprising of:-
Four (04) Very Short Answer Type Questions
Two (02) Medium Answer Type Questions
One (01) Long Answer Type Question

Candidates shall be required to attempt MCQs on OMR Sheet stitched over the Answer Book.
