JKBOSE Academic Calendar 2019 for Kashmir Division

Srinagar: The Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education has released the JKBOSE Academic Calendar 2019 for Kashmir Division.

The Academic Calendar is for Kashmir Division including District Kargil (Winter Zone).

“It is notified for information of all the Heads of Government / Private Institutions affiliated to this Board that the Academic Calendar be followed in letter & spirit for undertaking various examination activities of the Board for the Academic Session: 2018-2019,” reads the notification.

The JKBOSE Academic Calendar 2019 for Kashmir Division is provided below:

The above mentioned Academic Calendar for Kashmir Division / Kargil District (Winter Zone) is in accordance with Academic Calendar of previous year i.e, 2017-18 prepared in pursuance of Government Order No. 119-Edu of 2017; Dated: 15-03-2017.

Students who sit in Secondary School Annual (Regular) Examination (Class 10th) shall be allowed to seek provisional admission to Class 11th. The candidates, who are placed under E1 or E2 category [reappear/fail in one or more subiect/s], shall continue their studies in Class 11th till they clear their backlog (re-appear subject/s) of Class 10th) in the subsequent Bi-Annual (Private) examination, otherwise their provisional admission so granted to Class 11th shall be treated cancelled automatically.

No candidate in any case shall be allowed to sit Class 11th Annual (Regular) examination who fail to clear/pass his/her five (05) compulsory subjects of Class 10th in Bi-Annual examination.

Similar pattern shall be adopted for admission of Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) examination.
