Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Limited has released the JKSPDC Shortlist for Engineering & Junior Assistant Posts.
The Result Declaration and Provisional Shortlist as per merit acquired in the Screening Test is for candidates who appeared in Computer Based Test (CBT) and Written Test on 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st June 2018 for various posts.
JKSPDC had issued following detailed notifications for recruitment in 2017, including eligibility, qualifications and criteria for selection along with related corrigenda and clarifications thereafter:
1) JKSPDC/ADM/NG-311/4324-33; Dated: 05-08-2017
2) JKSPDC/ADM/EN-131/4310-16; Dated: 05-08-2017
Whereas, JKSPDC conducted screening test for various posts on 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st June, the details of which are as below:

Representations were received after the conduct of Screening Test, and the representations after due consideration have been disposed off after obtaining the opinion from the subject matter experts.
Based on the representations from several candidates that certain questions in Screening Test were out of published syllabus and/or the weight-age of questions was not as per the notified syllabus, the score obtained in the Screening Test has been scaled according to the published syllabus.
The appearance of candidates in the screening tests was purely provisional and is subject to document verification, confirmation of eligibility of the candidates viz-a-viz notifications and corrigenda thereof.
The result of the Screening Test for all the candidates is now available online. The candidates are required to visit the official Result Portal of JKSPDC and enter his/her details to view his final score in the Screening Test. The score is only the final score in the Screening Test.
The list of candidates who have been provisionally shortlisted for document verification-cum-interview on the basis of merit acquired by them in the Screening Test is available on the official website of JKSPDC.
The notice for document verification and interview to these candidates shall be issued separately.
Mere appearance in Screening Test and the score so obtained is not a sufficient condition for the candidature. The final selection list shall be subject to bio-metric cross checks and after having fulfilled prescribed qualification/eligibility as per advertisement notices, corrigenda and recruitment rules.
Candidates failing to satisfy eligibility conditions shall be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process.
In case any candidate does not produce attested copies of certificates on due date which shall be notified separately or if he/she remains absent at the time of interview, the next candidate in order of merit will be recommended for selection without any further opportunity to appear for the interview or document verification as the selection process cannot be perpetually open. Any such candidate who remains absent or fails to produce his/her documents will be disqualified for appointment.
JKSPDC reserves the right to disqualify and reject any candidate at any stage of the recruitment process, and that the shortlisting of candidates is subject to outcome of any writ/litigation if pending disposal before any Court of Law.
