KU announces exam form submission schedule for UG programs

SRINAGAR — The University of Kashmir has officially notified the schedule for submission of examination forms for candidates appearing in B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, MCMP, and Fazila II Year annual examinations for the academic session 2014-15. The last date for submitting the examination forms has been fixed as February 12, 2015.

According to the notification issued by the Assistant Controller of Examinations (Unit-I), examination forms can be downloaded from the university’s official website – www.kashmiruniversity.net – from February 2, 2015, using the candidates’ Registration Numbers.

The university has advised all candidates to thoroughly check their personal details on the examination forms and rectify any discrepancies before submission.

Regular candidates are required to submit the downloaded forms at their respective colleges, while the colleges must compile and submit the forms to the university by February 16, 2015. Colleges are instructed to deposit the examination fee and submit both hard and soft copies of the forms, along with the fee receipts.

On the other hand, Fresh Private Candidates must submit their forms directly at the II Year Section in the Examination Block, University Campus, Hazratbal, Srinagar.

The prescribed examination fee for all candidates is ₹1,150, which includes:

• ₹1,000 as Examination Fee
• ₹100 as EMF
• ₹50 as Heating & Lighting/Service Charges

Colleges are required to deposit the fees in any FINACLE branch of the J&K Bank Ltd. and forward the completed forms to the university accordingly.

The university also stated that nominal fees for administrative arrangements and bank charges may be retained at the college level, as specified in the notification.
