DSEK to declare Class 8th results today

Srinagar: Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) will declare Class 8th results of Kashmir valley today.

Officials in DSEK said that a total of 86,391 students appeared in the exams held in last month which included 42,743 boys and 43,648 girls.

Confirming this, Director School Education, Kashmir, Dr. G. N. Itoo said the results of Class 8th students will be declared on Tuesday (today).

He also expressed happiness, saying that he is happy that the department will put every effort to make Jammu and Kashmir on top level in education sector.

Meanwhile, Secretary Education, Farooq A. Shah said that the efforts of the Education Department are to get the top position in the country in education excellence.

Shah said this after the education sector in the state was ranked second after Himachal Pradesh in the country-wide survey done by India Today. (KNS)

Diet has declared result of class 8.2017 by closing their eyes and giving marks because sir…I have a doubt because more than more students have less marks but they are toppers and have fully done their paper but diet have given them bad marks sir…I want to check the papers and please take action against the closed eyes paper checkers…,
