JKBOSE Class 10th (Regular) Results for Kashmir Division declared

SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on Friday morning declared the JKBOSE Class 10th (Regular) Results for Kashmir Division.

Overall, 75 percent students qualified the 10th standard exams. However, girl students have outshined boys in the exams.

Among the total of pass percentage includes 74.04 percent for boys and 76.09 for girl students.

Girl students outshined boys in the 10th class, the result of which was declared by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) on Friday.

A total of 75132 students— 38340 boys and 36792 girls —had appeared in the examination held amid covid-19 pandemic last year, officials told GNS. 75% cleared the examinations and include 76.06% girls and 74.04% boys respectively.

Seventeen students shared first position and include Rutba Javeed (Kashmir Harvard, Habbak Naseem Bagh Srinagar), Toiba Showkat, Noor‐Us‐Sabah Q, Gousia Farooq, Tayibah Anjum, Ibtisaam Naseer Tahir, Rounaq Dilshad, Tabasum Gulzar, Seerat Bashir, Jazib Javeed, Umer Manzoor, Tabiya Fayaz, Sadaf Rashid, Khujasta Younis, Anas Amin Mir, Suhaib Ahmad Reshi and Aatiq Javed Khan.

73 students shared second position with 498 marks while 13 shared the third position with 497 marks, the officials said.

The government schools have also fared better this year as 62.76% students out of total 41026 who appeared in the examination cleared it. Also, 89.82 students out of 34106 from private education institutes passed the examination, they added.
