JKPSC Result for Lecturer (10+2) Economics announced

Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission today declared the JKPSC Result for Lecturer (10+2) Economics.

The Result of the Written Test for the post of Lecturer (10+2) Economics was announced through Notification No. PSC/Exam/2017/48, Dated: 23-08-2017.

The notification reads, “In pursuance of Rule 32 of J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examinations) Rules, 2005 read with Rule 40 of J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 1980, the candidates as per Annexure-A to this notification are hereby declared to have qualified for the Oral Test / Interview for the posts of Lecturer 10+2 Economics in School Education Department on the basis of their performance in the Written Test which was held on 26-06-2016.”

The notification further read that the candidature of candidates shown in the Shortlist (available for download at the end of this post) is purely provisional and only eligible candidates possessing requisite qualification prescribed under rules shall be allowed to appear in the Oral Test / Interview subject to the condition that they are within the prescribed age limit on the cut-off date.

The candidates who qualified the Written Test are advised to submit copy of their online application form along with fee receipt within 07 days at J&K PSC Office, Solina Srinagar / Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu or send by post to the address of “Controller of Examinations, J&K Public Service Commission, Solina, Srinagar” by registered post and only such identified documents shall be received as have been posted by or before 31-08-2017 and delivered in the Commission by 04-09-2017.

Candidates possessing Degrees through Distance Mode shall have to produce a proof of having degree within the purview of Government Order No. 252-HE of 2012, Dated: 30-05-2012 from Competent Authority of the concerned University.

The candidates shall produce their Original Certificates / Testimonials on the date of Oral Test / Interview.

Oral Test / Interview of the eligible candidates shall be held w.e.f 09-2017. However, the detailed schedule for Oral Test / Interview will be notified separately, as per the Commission.

“This is subject to the outcome of writ petition, if any, pending disposal before any competent Court of Law,” read the notification further.
