Hyper reality is possible only in postmodern world and in my Vale, this concept is yet to gain momentum. Of course, we are living in the post-postmodern world, but ironically without the lively-wire (communication).
As there is life-in-death situation throughout the entire world and unwillingly people preferred to stay at home in order to prevent themselves from the deadly novel Coronavirus.
It’s understood that the lively-wire is the only connecting link and avoids one to contact but my Vale, especially my district (Pulwama) is the worst hit in this conflict zone and has become the target point in every way possible, which means that we have to face communication blockade every now and then. Whenever and wherever any unpleasant thing happens, we Pulwamites have to suffer.
Don’t we have the right to live with ease? How much do we have to suffer as Pulwamites? Can’t we enjoy the civic liberties as other people do? Are they feeling proud by devastating us and leading us to the brink of insanity? Then labelling us traitors, pelters and what not. We got ruined by such tricks.
New psychological disorders start engulfing us and also people of other districts started to see us with suspicious eye. We are not traitors. We too are like one of them. Why don’t they understand and try to treat us like other people, instead of pushing us to live a hellacious life.
Though I’m not from ‘mainstream’, neither propound propaganda but like other Pulwamites, it’s my inner angst that why should I always become the target? And seek answer: Isn’t it an awkward age?
