Shabir Khanbali — A psychopath pawn for social media fame

A famous Austrian neurologist and the founder of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud who divided human consciousness into three levels of awareness viz, conscious, preconscious, and unconscious.

Freud believed people are “simply actors in the drama of [their] own minds, pushed by desire, pulled by coincidence. Underneath the surface, our personalities represent the power struggle going on deep within us”.

No doubt, there would be hundred thousand reasons which lend a man into depression and other mental disorders. And I totally agree.

In our Vale, circumstances engulf us in such a way that it seems impossible to find any escape. Yes it’s the bitter truth. There sometimes emerge such circumstances which totally destroy us but that doesn’t mean we should use that to earn our bread and butter.

Shabir Khanbali is now a household name in Kashmir. Though, I didn’t know much about him but after his famous dialogue “SEEDHEY MOUT KULLI MANZ, PETHI LATMOUND” was on the lips of almost all social media users, I got curious to know about him.

After watching some of his ‘funny’ videos, I got irritated and hurt to find him mentally unsound with some miscreants trying tooth and nail to use, rather abuse, him as a pawn for their fame on social media.

As he is mentally unsound, how could he know what people are doing with him? He would be living in a fool’s paradise along with those miscreants too who are thronging his home and trying to use him for his ‘nefarious’ designs and ended making him a ‘villain’.

Whatever they commanded Shabir Khanbali to say, he would take pride in doing that. Few weeks back, he did a blasphemous act about our religious book, the Holy Quran. Is that acceptable? No, not at any cost.

You might take me wrong, but it’s not his fault but of those miscreants who provoked him for this. Had they too lost their heads? How did they dare to do this? Didn’t they know that things might take a violent turn for the poor soul? Perhaps, those people were waiting for the very opportunity to shame the decimated soul.

Those miscreants provoked him and shared the blasphemy video on social media without bothering about the sentiments of Muslim community here. Moreover, it was about Muslims this time and it could have been about others religions too which would have made it much worse for Shabir. Who would have been responsible then, the psychopath or the miscreants?

After reading this piece of mine, some would abuse me; some would call me fanatic but this is not the case. If Shabir Khanbali would have been mentally fit, there could certainly be a case against him. But his state of mind is known to everyone here.

We have to curb such menace on social media and pave the way for brotherhood, amity and love. If we can’t be shield to one’s weakness, we don’t have any right to grind our axe as well.

As all religions stress on brotherhood, peace and guide us to refrain from evil. So, it is better to reform ourselves and reshape our frame of mind. If these evils aren’t controlled instantly, society could became totally inhuman.
