SRINAGAR — Famous Cricketer-turned-politician, Gautam Gambhir of Bhartiya Janta Party is likely to campaign for BJP in Jammu and Kashmir for the ongoing polls of District Development Council and Panchayat by-elections.
Sources in BJP said that Gambhir will participate in the campaign from December 7 to 9 this month for the DDC polls in J&K.
“He will participate as a star BJP campaigner in the DDC polls in J&K,” sources said.
Pertinently, the ongoing eight-phased DDC polls started on November 28 and will conclude on December 19 while the counting of votes will be done on December 22.
