Javed Mustafa Mir elected President of JKPM unanimously

SRINAGAR — The State Executive Committee of J&K People’s Movement met on Friday for the election of Party President as already notified vide notification published on 25th August, 2020, a statement from the Party said.

It said, “The electoral executive body met as per the program and elected Dr Mohamed Hussain Padder as President. However, Dr Mohamed Hussain Padder simultaneously proposed the name of former cabinet minister and legislator Javed Mustafa Mir for the post of President and this was unanimously agreed upon by the quorum members of the executive committee and all the quorum members present voted for Javed Mustafa Mir and elected him as the President of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement.”

The post of President was vacant after the resignation of Dr Shah Faesal.

JKPM State Executive Committee consists of 24 Executive Members comprising Javid Mustafa Mir, Dr Shah Faesal, Mohammad Ramzan, AshoK Kumar Karihalu, Faroze Wani, Feroze Peerzada, Dr Mohd Hussain Padder, Shehla Rashid, Dr Ghulam Mustafa Khan, Adv Syed Iqbal Tahir, Sajd Sheikh, Reyaz Majid, Chesfeda Shah, Adv Raja Mehmod Khan, Rohit Sharma, Uzair Ronga, Baldew Singh, Bashir Wani, Dilbag Singh, Iqbal Rather, Mir Mudasir, Javid Nilora, Javid Ahmad Shangus and Dr Nazer lone.
