NC’s DCC candidate dies due to cardiac arrest


JAMMU — National Conference (NC) District Development Council (DDC) election candidate from Paddar in Kishtwar district, Bobby Devi died due to cardiac arrest on Wednesday.

Reports reaching here said that Bobby Devi, who was a DDC election candidate from Kishtwar, died on Wednesday afternoon after suffering a cardiac attack.

“Sad to hear about the sudden unfortunate demise of our DDC candidate Paddar, Bobby Devi due to cardiac arrest. A great loss to the party and the people of the area. May her soul rest in peace in heaven,” NC senior leader, Devender Singh Rana, wrote on Twitter.

Paying tribute to DDC candidate, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah wrote on Twitter, “Very sorry to hear about her sudden demise. Her loss will be felt by the party and especially by the people in Paddar. May her soul rest in peace.”
