After finding himself in the mire of sexual allegations — the ‘victim’ had also alleged that her sister too was called by Khan to visit him in a room in some Bangaluru’s hotel and mentally tortured her for the same — Khan resigned from the position of NSUI’s President and at the same time denied all the charges levelled against him.

However, President IYC Srinivas B.V, while relying on Khan, added in the letter addressed to him that he is confident that Khan would work hard and devote his full time and energy to further strengthen the Congress Party under the dynamic leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
