Bandipora: Amid tight security, polling for the first phase is going on with a slow pace in Bandipora district of north Kashmir as the voter turn-out remained low with just 2.72% of the electorate casting their votes in 16 wards of urban local bodies till 2 PM.
As per the official reports, 2.72% polling was recorded up to 2 PM. The polling started in the Municipal Committee Bandipora at 7 AM.
Out of 461 votes polled up to 2 PM, 304 are male voters and 157 are female voters. There are 17 wards in the Bandipora Municipal Committee.
