SRINAGAR — Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole and IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Monday visited Jamia Masjid Srinagar to review arrangements for reopening of the Masjid for prayers.

Official sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the officials visited the Masjid as the government is planning to reopen it for prayers.

They said that during their visit to central Jamia Masjid, they held a meeting with the Intezamia Committee including Masjid Imam and Secretary.

Meanwhile, IGP Kashmir confirmed to KNS that they visited the Jamia Masjid as they were planning to reopen it for prayers.

During the visit, SSP Srinagar, Intezamia Committee and others were also present on the occasion.
