The crescent will be seen on July 9th in the evening. So the first day of Ramadan will be July 10th, astronomically, corresponding to Ramadan 01, 1434 H.
It also announced that the Shawwal crescent will appear on July 7th at 00:51 am and set with the sunset, making it difficult to be seen, and hence completes the last day of Ramadan (30 days). So Friday, Aug. 9th, will be astronomically the first day of Shawwal and the first day of Eidul Fitr.
Ibrahim Al Jarwan, Astronomy Researcher and Supervisor of Sharjah Planetarium said that the first half of the Holy Month of Ramadan will witness a rise in temperature, which will reach 46 degree Celsius, accompanied by dry dusty winds.
