SRINAGAR — Kashmir’s Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam on Tuesday said that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated across Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow – Wednesday – as witnesses have been on record on the sighting of the Shawwal moon.

Reports of sightings of the Shawwal moon have been confirmed in various locations, indicating that Eid will be celebrated tomorrow, as announced by Islam.

The top cleric extends felicitations to the people of J&K, wishing for peace and prosperity throughout the region on this auspicious occasion.
