J&K Police has registered an FIR against a missing Army sepoy after his video surfaced on social media, blaming the government for the Pahalgam massacre.

A day after three militants affiliated were killed in a gunfight in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, the Army said the trio were actively involved in recent militant activities.

In the first gunbattle after the Pahalgam massacre, three militants affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba were killed in an encounter with security forces in Kashmir’s Shopian.

Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) of India and Pakistan held talks on Monday evening.

Lieutenant General Ghai said, “The understanding reached yesterday was not limited to just three days; it was aimed at ceasing hostilities."

In a huge development, India and Pakistan today agreed to a “full and immediate ceasefire”, bringing to an end the intense and extensive three-day military confrontation.

Pieces of wrecked missiles that were destroyed by the India Army have been found in Una’s Vehra and Kangra's Jwali, while drone debris was recovered in Kangra district.

Three babies born on May 6 and 7 at the district hospital in Nawalgarh town of Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district have been named after Operation Sindoor.
