Security forces on Wednesday thwarted last year’s Pulwama-type fidayeen attack by recovering a 45-kilogram explosive laden car left behind by a possible suicide bomber at Ayegund area of Rajpora in southern district of Pulwama.

Three persons were injured in a mysterious blast at Tosamaidan, an old artillery training area of Army, in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday.

Police and Army on Tuesday recovered two UBGL grenades during a cordon and search operation here at Zunreshi area of Kralpora, sources said.
