The killing of youth has devastated the Budgam family which still doesn’t believe that their loved one is no more.

Awantipora Police on Tuesday claimed to have busted a module of the militant associates of Jaish-e-Mohammad, saying that the module was involved in providing shelter, logistics to JeM militants and transporting arms and ammunition of the militants in Khrew area.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Dr Haseeb Mughal on Sunday clarified that to ensure lockdown restrictions in wake of COVID-19 pandemic, police party on the request of locals reached Shamswari Khankah-e-Mo’alla where some miscreants stoned police party and forced them to fire in self-defence.

Locals from a Budgam village here in central Kashmir Saturday accused combined Forces of vandalizing property and making arrests of what they call innocent people.

A shopkeeper has reportedly been apprehended along with a rifle in Satura Tral that falls under the jurisdiction of police station Tral in south Kashmir.
