India’s COVID-19 tally reaches 35,043
With 1993 new cases and 73 new fatalities in 24 hours, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country climbed to 35,043 on Friday morning, the Union Health Ministry said.

In a significant development, the Board of Governors (BoG), formed in suppression of Medical Council of India, has recommended to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to increase 50 seats in PG courses in Government Medical Colleges and SKIMS Soura in J&K under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota for 2020-21.
