BANDIPORA — Due to the fresh snowfall on Saturday, the Gurez-Bandipora road has been closed again for traffic.
An unnamed official, quoted by the news agency JKNS, said that the higher reaches of Gurez including Razdan Top, Dawar Gurez, and Tulail, have received fresh snowfall of around 8 to 11 inches of fresh snow accumulation.
He said that currently snowfall is going on in the area and the road has been closed as a precautionary measure.
He also said that once snowfall stops, efforts will be made to clear the road as soon as possible.
